Community Volunteer Opportunities

ASA-Halloween

This month’s service project opportunity will be helping ASA Now with a Trunk or Treat for families with foster children. Please use the following link to sign up : https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/4090c4aa5a82ba1f58-volunteers56

Join us at ASA Now’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat event.  Our annual Halloween party is one of very few events during the year that some foster children are able to see their siblings.

Volunteers dressed to impress will welcome the children and their caregivers. Decorations, balloons, fun stations, clowns, magicians, fortune-tellers, puppeteers, apple bobbers, treats, therapeutic animals and a cake walk are all welcome as highlights of the evening entertainment. Volunteers are encouraged to dress up, help run a fun booth or craft, serve food and help us host a spook-tacular trunk or treat event.

Oct-26-Elementary-Info-Session-1

On Tuesday, October 26th from 6:30-7:30 pm, we will host our second parent/student information session  for anyone interested in learning more about our new elementary school opening in July 2022. The info session will be held at the current Gateway campus. Please help spread the word for anyone who has elementary-aged children and may be looking for a new option for the upcoming school year. Click the link below to RSVP so we are sure to have enough snacks as we snack and chat!
