Welcome to Heritage Academy Gateway’s PTO page!

The basic purpose for the Heritage Academy – Gateway Parent Teacher Organization is to provide a way for parents to direct the building of character in their scholars in those areas where school and community can assist. The staff of Heritage Academy recognizes its role of assisting parents in this effort. The Heritage Academy Parent Teacher Organization exists to increase and facilitate communications and cooperation between the home and the school; to direct scholar activities outside the classroom and to provide a forum for discussion for any student and school related issues.

PTO Board Meetings are held monthly, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, at 7pm in Room 242.  If you are unable to attend in person, you can also attend via Zoom.  The link to the Zoom meeting is in the weekly Campus Update emails sent out by the school.

All parents/guardians and staff are invited to attend!

PTO Dues:

The PTO Supports the core academic courses, the arts and sports in many ways, including providing financial support for equipment when needed.  Further, the PTO sponsors many projects for the whole campus (sidewalks, grass, picnic tables, etc.).

In order to support the school and to also have fun all-campus activities, the PTO needs a source of funds.  Each household is expected to pay $20 as yearly dues to the PTO to help support the education of their scholar(s).

Coordinate a Carpool:

The PTO does not do the coordinating for you. However, the PTO provides a contact map, via which you can find and contact others who are also interested in Carpooling. Sign up here to be added to the map.

You can also contact Hop Skip Drive or VanGo which offer transportation for students from their home to their school, and back, plus after school activity transportation. Heritage Academy has no affiliation with either of these companies.
