He is collecting toys and gifts for Arizonans For Children, an organization that helps children in foster care throughout the year.

  • The annual NHS Coin Drive HAS BEGUN!!!
  • This year all profits will go to There’s No Place Like Hope, an organization that works to support childhood cancer victims. 
  • The winning homeroom will receive a Crumbl Cookie party (that’s a giant cookie and milk – or chocolate milk – for every person in class).

Extra Curricular Tax Donations (ECA Tax Donations)
The fall is giving season and a great time for families to max out their ECA on Heritage programs before the end of the year if you haven’t already.
In the last legislative session, there were a few new expenses that are now eligible to be funded with ECA money.

The Success Coach from Rio Salado College can provide a personalized student support system for information, advice, and encouragement.  They can recommend which courses to take, ensure you are taking them in the right order, and answer any questions you have along the way.  Appointments are available every other Monday (2:00-4:00 pm) during the months of October, November and December. Ace Puente Program (Achieving a College Education) meeting Tuesday, November 5, 11:15-11:45 am, Room 421

Attention Sophomores: You can earn up to 24 college credits completely free! Must apply by December 5 of your Sophomore year. Attend the upcoming meeting on Tuesday, November 5 during citizenship to learn more. See Mrs. Weiler, if you have any questions. ACE Puente participants are recruited in their sophomore year of high school. Students take hybrid and online college courses while in their junior and senior years, allowing them to graduate with up to 24 college credits. Interested in science? Are you 16 or older and an Arizona resident? Apply to the internship program at the University and receive 3 units of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
