Hello Heritage Academy Parents:
As we announced last month, we are migrating over to using MySchoolBucks (MSB) to handle payments, receipts & invoicing for student fees, donations, PTO Dues, field trips, yearbooks, and spirit wear. Unfortunately it is taking longer than anticipated to make the transition.
While we are currently working with an implementation specialist to get the student fees side of MSB completed, our School Store is live with several items available for purchase. You can buy a yearbook, pay PTO dues or even make ECA and Non-ECA donations there (no class fee payments can be made at this time via ECA donations). Spiritwear is available for certain classes/ organizations and the Fine Arts Retreat will be available for signup and payment soon.
To have access to your student’s info in the new program, you will need to do the following:
- Create your MSB account
If you have not created your MSB account yet, you can do so by logging into your PowerSchool parent account. You will not be able to do this by using a PowerSchool student account. On the left navigation menu there is a MySchoolBucks link. Select the MySchoolBucks link/button and click “Go To MSB”. You may need to hit the “Re-Sync” button if the data is out of date. You will then be asked to create a new MySchoolBucks Account by selecting “New MySchoolBucks User” or you can click “Existing MySchoolBucks User” if you already have an existing account. This will only work on a PC and not through the PowerSchool app.
You don’t have to have a PowerSchool account to get a MSB account. You can create a MSB account by either going directly to the MySchoolBucks website or go to the Heritage Academy website and choosing “Payments” under the “Parents” tab.
- Add Students
Once you have created your MSB account you will need to add your students to your account before you will be able to see the school store, and when they are available, your child’s fees and account balances. You can do that by clicking on the blue person in the white circle icon in the upper right hand corner and choose “My Students” from the drop-down menu. You will be directed to input the information needed for the program to find your students.
If grandparents or others want to pay school fees or purchase school items they can create MSB accounts or they may pay as a Guest. There will be Express Pay buttons on each Heritage Academy website for donations and yearbooks.
With the exception of Scholar Council activities and Donations, we will no longer be accepting cash or checks for payment.

REMINDER: YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE FOR STUDENT FEES WHEN THE PROGRAM IS READY TO ISSUE FEES AND ACCEPT PAYMENTS. We cannot accept class fee payments at this time.
